Tall Ships and duck craft weekend!

                    Posted August 27th, 2014

We had such a blast at the Tall Ships Festival last weekend. Thank you to everyone who visited the pop-up shop and brought their family down to make a paper duck hat – they were such a hit. We spotted duck hats all over San Pedro, and even a few on the freeway. Over 7,000 duck hats were made over the course of the five-day fest and the creativity we saw in each individual hat blew us away! We loved to spread our handmade happiness to the visitors of Tall Ships and share a sample of our amazing craft marketplace to those who have never been.

The World’s Largest Rubber Duck, one of the stars of the festival, is still in town for another two weeks. The Port of Los Angeles has provided a full schedule of duck appearances called the Duck Days of Summer. In line with the duck days, we decided to keep the fun rolling by an encore Tall Ships craft weekend in the market. Click through the gallery below to find a few of the fun crafts we’ll be making this weekend only!
