Class: Beginning Quilting

Learn the basics of quilting and start your own project with master quilter, Patsy Johnson.  Learn to make a treasured quilt keepsake like Patsy Johnson Quilts, Shop A124. Bring your machine that is threaded with a neutral color cotton thread. All fabric, pins, irons and other materials will be provided.  Let Patsy know if you don’t have your own sewing machine, there are a few available on loan. Please RSVP in advance to this class, it will fill up fast!

Class: Mini-Intro to Metal Clay

Learn to make a pendant from silver clay.  This material is fine silver particles combined with an organic clay binder that, when burned away, leaves the maker with pure silver (no copper alloy).  Instructor Delia Marsellos-Traister, an accomplished metal clay artisan, certified through Rio Grande and the PMC Connection, will walk you through the entire process from concept to completion.

$85 – includes instruction, hand-out, pack of clay, one small gemstone and use of all necessary tools and materials to complete the project.  You need only bring water (and eye magnification if that is useful to you).
