Color Theory for Jewelry Design

September 10, 2016 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

$40

Techniques and mechanics are only part of creating a really wonderful piece of jewelry. Understanding the use of Color Theory is vital to design while creating visual balance through combining contrast and complementary colors. We suggest this class to all of our students because whether you’re making a simple pair of earrings  or an intricate bead woven piece; how you use color can determine the “wow” factor of your work and give you confidence in what you’re designing. In addition to the course materials (handouts, color wheel and jewelry design suggestions), students will learn how to use an interactive on-line program and then apply color design concepts learned to complete a simple project.
