Craft with “Sew Cranky”

July 2, 2016 @ 11:00 am - July 3, 2016 @ 6:00 pm

Sew Cranky is a unique Hands-on-History experience!  Demonstrating antique hand-crank sewing machines (1870 – 1950), Mike Sabo and Ginger Alberti bring history to life.  A “memory-lane” for the older and middle generations, the machines bring out family stories to share.  And for the young, the fascination of a mechanical machine that they can operate to create and take home a craft –  this is so important in today’s world of technology.  For the collectors among us, Mike’s careful restoration of these machines brings out their beauty, making them completely useful again… in this era of thinking “Green”, why not go electricity free?

Sew Cranky, Hands-on-History!
A large selection of original antique machines from the late 1800’s through 1940, will be available to use, many makes and models… all hand-crank operated!  “Green” machines are so easy to use, and so beautiful too!  Easy and useful projects for children and adults!
Best of all, YOU will have the opportunity to learn how easy it is to operate these machines with a hands-on activity!
