Weave & Embellish a Talisman Pendant Necklace

In this unique and “artsy-fartsy” class, students will hand weave a petite pendant using beautiful textured yarns, ribbons, and recycled silk Sari strips then they will embellish their piece with a few beads for whimsy. Their pendant will be finished with the simple hand sewing of a felt backing, (recycled from pre-loved sweaters), where a talisman or treasure can be hidden away. The pendant will then be positioned on wire and your necklace completed with leather cord and a button closure. So cool! Students will lean simple weaving skills as well as tips for sewing of beads.
This class is one, 2 hour session. Skill Level: All welcome, ages 15 and up. Cost: $45 with all supplies included (except a talisman). Please preregister to reserve your seat.
