Jewelry Making I: “Summer Solstice” Necklace or Bracelet. 

Celebrate the coming of Summer while learning the basics of bead stringing techniques. You will design and create your own one-of-a-kind necklace or bracelet with a sun or beach theme or a whatever your choice may be. Stringing beads is great fun and in this class students will create around a focal pendant or charm then learn how to securely fasten a closure to they’re piece using crimp beads. Supplies are included in the class fee, (photo tile or embossed metal pendant, charm,  glass beads, beading line, closure and crimps). Technique, design tips, and use of tools learned in this introductory class will allow students to go on and make necklaces or bracelets of their own!

This class is one, 2 hour session. Skill Level: All welcome, ages 15 and up. Cost: $30 with all supplies included. Please pre-register. Students should bring glasses if necessary to see small holes in the beads. Please pre-register to reserve your seat. RSVP to peggyharborcity@aol.com
