Jewelry Making I: Make a Necklace
Get creative and show your style while learning basic bead stringing and design techniques. You will design and create your own one-of-a-kind necklace with a pendant or focal point. Stringing beads is great fun and creatively fulfilling. In this class students will design around a focal piece or bead cluster then learn how to securely fasten a closure to their piece using crimp beads. Supplies are included in the class fee, (focal, glass beads, beading line, closure and crimps). Technique, design tips, and use of tools learned in this introductory class will allow students to go on and make necklaces or bracelets on their own!
This class is one, 2 hour session. Skill Level: All welcome, ages 15 and up. Cost: $40 with all supplies included. Please pre-register. Students should bring glasses if necessary to see small holes in the beads. (Style sample only)
