The Paint & Create Your Own Picasso Self Portrait class/activity allows individuals of all ages to explore their artistic potential by replicating a style inspired by Pablo Picasso. This hands-on activity enhances creativity and encouraging self-expression through art.

On this date, join us for a a special workshop featuring how to incorporate home-grown herbs into your meals. Local Chef Pablo Garcia will share a recipe with us and we'll make herb and flower bouquets.
Afterwards, create your own small mosaic artworks.

Fantasy Flowers Fused Glass Workshop
Instructor: Steven Bay
Create a bouquet of vibrant glass flowers in a rainbow of colors.
Feel the joy of finding the perfect color of flowers and skip the pain of having them wilt and decay in a few weeks with these fused glass blooms. In this class, you will use glass fusing methods to create a set of five fanciful flowers (approx. 4 in diameter) that will brighten your space forever. You will learn how to cut glass flower shapes like a pro, and then use enamel paint, glass frit, and stringer to embellish them. A variety of transparent glass colors will be available for you to choose from. After class, your instructor will fuse and slump each piece to create a sculptural bloom and mount them on a copper stem. Completed flowers may be picked up the following week. Flowers are suitable for interior or exterior use.
Your instructor, Steve Bay, is a glass artist who creates sculpture and jewelry using flame working and fusing (@stevebayglass). Steve applies his marine biology research background to capture the beauty and remarkable design of nature in his art. Class size is limited to eight persons to ensure personal attention from the instructor. Participants must be at least 14 years of age. For safety, please wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Cast Glass Treasures
Instructor: Steven Bay
Create unique art glass hearts, stars and other shapes
You become the designer and creator to combine clear and colored glass in a mold to create a one of a kind sculpture. In this class, you will use glass fusing methods to create two to three cast shapes (approx. 3-4.5 in diameter) that will brighten your space forever. A variety of glass components, including clear sheet, colored shards, and dichroic elements, will be provided for you to use in creating a layered composition within a metal mold. Using examples and a demonstration provided by your instructor for inspiration, you will plan and assemble your project within the mold. After class, your instructor will heat each assemblage under high temperature to allow the individual glass components to fuse and flow within the mold and transform into a unique piece of sculptural art glass that is about ¾ in thick. Completed pieces may be picked up the following week.

Make Your Own Italian Charm
Learn how to create your own cornicello out of wax while learning about its significance in Sicilian history.
Learn how to create your own cornicello out of wax in the lost wax-casting style of jewelry making, while learning about the object's significance in Sicilian history.
In this two-hour workshop, you'll learn about the tools and the process with plenty of time to create your own unique wax mold cornicello. They make for great pendants and keychains!
Your mold will need to be cast in brass as a second step, and your pieces will be shipped to you two weeks after the workshop. Your casting costs are included in the ticket price.
This workshop is in collaboration with (and was the brainchild of) Lindsay Marie Morris, the Sicilian American author of The Last Letter from Sicily and Beneath the Sicilian Stars, which were both released by Storm Publishing in 2025.
Lindsay will begin the class by speaking on this iconic Italian horn-shaped amulet, believed to ward off il malocchio (the evil eye) and shield wearers from negativity and misfortune. Then, she will read from Beneath the Sicilian Stars, which prominently features this precious object and its own incredible journey.
All tools and materials are provided, and no experience is necessary.
